Rahul: Yes, that’s true. Today USD was strong all the major currency pairs. What is the reason? It was due to the Fed announcement which left the interest rates unchanged. This caused the market to believe that inflation is not high else Fed may have decided to lower the interest rates. So, today was a good day for traders who went long on USD. But at the same time I would like to re-emphasize to you to keep track of economic calendar just to monitor if any major announcement or news is expected to come that may impact the forex market.
