The creative trader is on a head above the crowd. A lot of traders are conformists. They search for acknowledgement of the decisions from others. If the crowd purchases, they purchase. If the crowd sells, they sell. But winning traders – are more flexible. When it is necessary for them, they safely go against crowd. They listen to the intuition and allow behave to own sensations. Ability to invent and develop new trading strategy is the talent, which allocates winning trader from any other. It is useful to understand creative process and to learn to increase your creative potential.

Why do some people more creative, than others? In this respect there are many theories, but psychologist Carl Rogers has offered one of the most influential. Rogers has indicated that many people grow in conditions where they feel threat. They feel so psychologically unreliably, that they are afraid to express own ideas. Parents extremely supervised them, believing that if children do not correspond to their expectations they will not deserve their respect. There was a latent implied sense that “if you do not do what I speak, I will not love you very much”. Creative people, on the contrary, feel freely and safely, without any difficulties, investigating new ideas and belief. They freely search for new knowledge and live under own internal standards. For example, in research of the Dr. Harrington, at children was studied the environment in which they grew, and the creative potential was evaluated, when these children reached youthful age. Creative young men have grown with parents who respected opinion of the child and encouraged them to express these opinions. They allowed children to make own decisions and encouraged them to world research. Less creative children have grown at parents who did not allow the children to investigate the sensations and ideas. They did not allow children to accept decisions, believing that “it is necessary to see the child, but not to hear it”. Observers have described educational methods of such parents, as super supervising and extremely critical.

The obtained data shows that our past children’s experiences, probably, influence our ability to think creatively. People, who had excessively critical and supervising parents, are afraid to express own feelings and ideas, as adults. They are afraid to think flexibly, to look in themselves and to go on own way. If you have grown in such environment, probably it is difficult for you to think creatively. Is it difficult to you to follow the sensations? Are you afraid that you will be punished, if make a mistake? If you have answered “Yes” to any of these questions, you, probably, have grown in such environment where the creative thinking was not encouraged.

It is important to think of how you interfere to think freely or openly. It is vital to recognize that last children’s experiences with parents and other adults, probably, still influence your ability to think freely and flexibly. You, probably, have learnt that you should meet with approval from management (though those in trading do not exist) and that you cannot trust own perceptions of the world. You, maybe, also are afraid that you will make something wrong and will be punished. Being the adult, however, it is useful to remind yourself that the parents observing of each your movement are not present near to you now. You can trust in own opinion. You can operate independently and it will be important the opinion of the one person – you. You do not need to search approval at others.
